Amy Hudson is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been providing quality counseling services to those in the Decatur and surrounding area for over 11 years. She holds a graduate degree from Auburn University in Community and Agency Counseling.
Amy has experience working in the counseling setting, providing services to children ages 6 through 18. She also works with adults struggling with anxiety, depression and relational issues to name a few. Amy has also served as an Adjunct Instructor at Calhoun Community College and has experience helping college students through the transitions and challenges that come with college and career planning. Finally, she has worked within major industries within the community providing personal and leadership consultation and trainings on stress management, healthy living and leadership development.
Amy’s passion is for helping children who are struggling with emotional and behavioral issues in the home or school setting. She also coaches the parents by providing tips and tools to empower the parents to help their child be successful outside of the counseling session.
She also enjoys helping women through the many struggles and transitions that come along as we journey through life. Whether you are a working mom, a wife struggling with finding her identity and self-esteem, or a 20 something transitioning from college to career Amy has a unique skill set that equips her to walk with you through this journey.
